Every employer in Minnesota and Wisconsin is mandated to provide workers’ compensation benefits for their employees (with limited exceptions). While we cannot avoid paying for coverage, there are many ways we can help limit our annual spend on premiums and other expenses. Attendees of this seminar will walk away with new ideas, resources, and a better understanding of how they can take more control over their workers’ compensation related expenditures.

    • How can I avoid hiring potential problem employees and work comp liabilities by utilizing better screening processes?
    • What can I do to control my experience mod?
    • Identify where workers compensation and employment law issues intersect
    • Return-to-work – thinking outside the box to avoid lost time claims
    • What is my local medical provider doing to ensure the best possible outcomes for my business and my employees?
    • Case study – How one local employer reduced its experience mod 150 points.

Admission is free*! Advanced registration is required.
Call Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce at 651-388-4719 or email frontdesk@redwingchamber.com.

*In lieu of admission, we ask that you consider bringing a donation for the Hope Coalition. They are in greatest need of tissue paper, toilet paper, laundry soap, and paper towels.
