    This session will provide an introduction to the concept of creating a safety culture and tools for effective safety leadership. The overall goal is to foster leadership skills that help create and support a positive safety culture.

    Main topics include:

    (1) why should we care about safety;
    (2) safety culture – definitions, benefits, roles and responsibilities;
    (3) safety leadership – communication skills and how to influence culture in a positive direction.
