    President: Vicki McGuire, Gemini

    Vicki is a Senior HR Business Partner at Gemini in Cannon Falls. As a part of her role, she supports Compensation and Benefit programs. She is serving as the HVSHRM Board President this year; it is her 2nd time serving on this board. She has an 18-year-old son and nearly 16-year-old daughter. Her son parcitipates in Theater and Robotics while her daughter enjoys Softball. Personally, she enjoys traveling, camping, reading and supporting her young adults in their activities.

    Her vision for our chapter: HR has been experiencing so many changes in the world, especially all the new laws being implemented in Minnesota and I would like our chapter to be seen as the subject matter experts for our area businesses to come to us to learn, to grow and to want to be a part of this amazing team.

    Secretary: Marianne Kuyath, Advisor Square 

     

    Marianne is the Office Manager at AdvisorSquare Financial. She has been with Hiawatha SHRM for about 10 years and serves as the chapter Secretary. She is married with two beautiful daughters - one is married living in New Hope and the other is watching over her from Heaven. She enjoys watching the Vikings and says this is our year!

    Asst. Secretary: Bailey Saas, Prairie Island Indian Community

    Bailey is an HR Coordinator for Prairie Island Indian Community and HVSHRM Assistant Secretary, serving in her first year on the board. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Psychology with a concentration in Industrial and Organizational Psych. Personally, she is a mother of two girls (ages 15 & 6), in Red Wing who both play softball. She enjoys watching her girls play softball and the traveling that comes with it. Additionally, she loves to garden, read and bake in her free time.

    Treasurer: Corrine Stockwell, Red Wing HRA

    Programs: Katie Hardyman, Minnesota State College Southeast         

        

    Katie has been the Director of Workforce Education at Minnesota State College Southeast for the past 13 years and serves as the HVSHRM Programs Coordinator. She has 2 grown boys and married to the Goodhue County Building Official, Doug Morem. In her professional role, she works to ensure local employers have the training that they need to upskill their current workforce. She does this through her superpower of connecting humans to other humans, to job opportunities, and to local resources. In her free time, she enjoys reading historical fiction, traveling with friends and family, cooking (NOT baking), and going to movies. The photo is Katie at Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland. She loves planning trips for people!

    Membership: Michelle Plote, Riedell Skates

    Michelle is the HR Manager at Riedell Skates in Red Wing. She supports the HVSHRM Board as the Membership Chair. She has worked in all areas of HR in a manufacturing setting for over 20 years. She is certified in both SHRM SCP and SPHR. Her favorite area of focus is the coordination of benefits and assisting employees. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and being outside.

    Certification and Legislative Director: Karen Renshaw, Diamond HR

    Karen is owner of Diamond HR, providing human resource services to small businesses and nonprofits that are not able to hire a full-time person, as well as providing forms, information, and training to HR Departments of One. She served on the board of HVSHRM several years ago in the president roles and is excited to now be able to use her legal and HR background in the legislation and certification areas.   

    Karen is the mother of 3 adult sons and one-daughter-in-law, as well as a chocolate lab, Mocha, and 3 grand-doggers. She loves to spend time sitting with friends drinking coffee or red wine, and also likes to read, paint, travel, go golfing or boating, and fix up houses. 

    Workforce Readiness Director: Kyle Mullen, Workforce Development Inc.

    Kyle Mullen is the Adult Services Director for Workforce Development, Inc., the Workforce Board serving 10 counties in SE Minnesota.  He supports the HVSHRM Board as the Workforce Chair, building on efforts to remove barriers for both jobseekers and employers navigating an ever-evolving workforce climate. In addition to his disability education and advocacy efforts through the Maxability Taskforce, in his free time Kyle actively enjoys the beautifully abundant nature in the river region and is an unrepentant nerd.

    Communications: Margaret Lampman, Gemini

    Margaret is the Training and Development Manager at Gemini. In this role, she designs, develops, and implements the organization's training and development programs. In her 9 years at Gemini, she has served in Customer Experience and Human Resources.This year, she is serving on the HVSHRM board in Communications. Personally, she enjoys spending time with her family of 6, relaxing up north at the lake, and practicing jiu jitsu.

    Past President: Jerry Olson, Olson HR 

    Jerry is a Business Advisor with The Resultants and HR Consultant with Olson HR. He works with clients facilitating both strategic planning and tactical execution, as well as coaching and teaching leadership skills and team building. He has held past leadership roles in 3 different organizations as VP of HR, General Manager, and COO. Also, he was a past Board Chair/President of HVSHR and has served multiple terms on the board and active member of HVSHRM since its creation and affiliation with SHRM. Personally, he has been a husband for over 40 years, a father of five and grandfather of seven. He enjoys road and trail biking (when there’s no snow or ice!).
